United Nations Has Changed Us

Our investigation of the UN SDG has changed my actions a bit. I turn off more lights (or at least I try to before Ben turns them back on), I use less water, and, sometimes, I hold my breath to produce less Co2 (I know, it’s strange). The whole UN unit has changed all of us a little bit, and it’s a good thing, because it is slowly moving us towards completing the UN SDG.

Election Unit

There are many things I learned about the election (and it’s issues) in this unit. I learned the names of all four candidates, Hillary Clinton, Jill Stein, Gary Johnson, and last but definitely least, Donald Trump. While learning their names, I also found out that Bernie Sanders is no longer running. A different thing I learned about is some of the political issues, some of which were hard decisions when we answered them, but others were easy choices. That was all I learned so far (I'm pretty sure). I don’t know what I’m going to learn in the future, but I hope it’s not as stressful as the things we’ve been learning.

Closed And Open Questions / Why We Should Use Google Search Tips

  1. A benefit of a closed question is that the answer is quick and simple. A benefit of an open question is that the answer gives a lot of information. Both have their own ups and downs, so both should be used.

  1. We should use Google search tips because they can help a lot. For example, if you were trying to find a certain website, you could use site: to get rid of other websites in the results. However, if you were trying to avoid a certain site, you could combine site: with minus to not get it in the results.
